SERVICES
Dr. Rachel Parsons is a registered psychologist, providing assessment and treatment services to both children and adults. Rachel consults in inner-eastern Melbourne.
Rachel provides individualised assessment and treatment for a range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and complex trauma.

Children and Young People
Rachel has extensive clinical experience in working with children and young people who have complex emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. She also specialises in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma.
Rachel also completes assessments and provides treatment to children and young people under the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT).
Formally trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Rachel’s clinical approach is also informed by an understanding of Mindfulness, Neurobiology and Attachment Theory. Rachel provides an empathic approach to working with children, young people and their families to promote their development and support their emotional well-being.

Adults
Rachel works with adults with a range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Rachel also completes assessments and provides treatment to individuals under the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT).
Rachel uses a clinical approach informed by formal training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and enhanced through an understanding of Mindfulness, Neurobiology and Attachment Theory. Rachel has a sensitive and empathic approach to working with individuals to promote their emotional and psychological well-being.
When working with individuals who have experienced trauma, Rachel understands the complex impact trauma has on an individual’s functioning and works sensitively and empathically to restore an individual’s psychological and emotional functioning following their trauma experiences.
