Referrals

Individuals can self-refer or parents/guardians can make referrals for their child by contacting Parsons Psychology.

Parsons Psychology can provide you with additional information about services, including a discussion of your or your child’s needs, and the most suitable referral pathways to ensure that Parsons Psychology is the most appropriate service.

After our clinic reception staff have taken referral details, an initial 20-30 min intake phone call will be organised with Dr. Rachel Parsons to discuss your referral and answer any questions you may have, prior to any referral being accepted.

Professionals working with children can also contact Parsons Psychology directly to consult about potential referrals.

Parsons Psychology Referral Limits

Due to a high demand for services, at times referrals will be closed and new referrals will not be taken during this time.

Parsons Psychology does not operate a waiting list. During times that referrals are closed, you can contact Parsons Psychology to understand timelines around when new referrals will be open.

Accessing support in a timely manner is very difficult and a challenge currently with the high demand for services. The below are two resources that can be utilised to search for appropriate psychologists;
